For larger groups, or for a more luxurious experience, a vacation home could be the perfect match. These homes are some of the nicest places to stay in the area, as they are highly maintained and feature all the conveniences you are used to at home as well as some fantastic views and locations. Use our online reservation system to see all of the views and amenities with our detailed photographs, panoramas and maps. You can find a house that sleeps 10 or more, including many baths and bedrooms at nightly rate comparable or even lower than that of a Lake Tahoe hotel. If you have a smaller group or a family, but still want to cozy up in a home setting, we have many smaller houses to choose from. There are some beautiful beaches around South Lake Tahoe, and there is no better way to enjoy your summer vacation then staying just a short walk away. Choose from many lakefront properties around South Lake, some of them even are within walking distance to dining and entertainment in the downtown area. For a more secluded atmosphere, see our properties in the Tahoe Keys neighborhood. Some of our places even have their own boat docks! Our rentals also provide easy access to fishing, hiking and golf activities in the area. All of them are posted for viewing online, and we have someone available 24 hours a day via phone who is familiar with our properties to help you make an informed decision.

Rentals close to the casinos

Enjoy the evening life of South Lake without having to drive or park! By staying at one of our centrally located luxury vacation rentals, you can walk to all four major casinos at the Nevada state line including Harvey’s, Harrah’s, Mont Blue and The Horizon Casino. The South Shore boasts the most Casino activities of anywhere around the lake. As an added bonus, the heavenly ski gondola is right in the middle of it all as well!

Rentals close to the Tahoe ski resorts

If you are looking to stay on the mountain, or within walking distance to skiing then Heavenly ski resort is the most convenient in South Lake Tahoe. We have chalet rentals that are ski in/ski out as well as rentals located in downtown where the gondola will give you direct access to the mountain. We also have Lake Tahoe winter accommodations in the Stateline and Kingsbury areas near the Nevada side of Heavenly Resort. South Lake is also short drive from Sierra at Tahoe and Kirkwood ski areas, and you can view our selection of vacation rentals closer to that side of the South Shore by using our ‘Search By Map’ feature.

There are more options for dining and nightlife in South Lake Tahoe than in any other city around the lake. Most of our South Lake Tahoe lodging is centrally located, which makes it easy to access all of that when you’re staying close by. Staying this close also makes it easy to avoid the expensive and sometimes hard to find a cab services in the late night hours after the bar or nightclub scene. During the busy holidays when South Lake Tahoe gets very crowded, make sure to book these luxury vacation rentals ahead of time as these properties rent out quickly.

All of the information you need is available via our extensive online reservation system. Each of our properties has a separate listing with detailed photographs and an in-depth description of how many bedrooms, bathrooms, square feet, etc. are featured. We even have panorama views of the neighborhood! This makes it easy to single out the properties that have the features you want, such as outdoor decks, hot tubs, and mountain or lake views. All reservations require a two night minimum, and there are exceptions for some holidays which will require a three night minimum.

Offices in 2 South Lake Tahoe locations (and 2 more in North Lake Tahoe!)

If you have any questions when staying with us, we have offices on both sides of South Lake Tahoe. On the west/central side we have in office by the “Y” which is an easy drive from most of our vacation rentals in that area. On the Nevada side we have an office in Stateline which is in close proximity to our vacation rentals in the city of Stateline, Nevada, Zephyr Cove, Nevada and the upper Kingsbury area.
